RAVEN Youth Violence Program

Beginning September 8, 2008, RAVEN Non-Violence Education Program will
restart its Onsite *Youth Violence Prevention Group*. Males ages 12-17
will have the opportunity to participate on Mondays from 4:45 pm – 6:00
pm at the RAVEN office. *The RAVEN Youth Program* is an educational
program that specializes in working with youth that are at risk for
committing violence in their relationships. Risk factors include:

Youth who have witnessed domestic violence
Youth who have acted violently in the past
Youth who live in environments that are tolerant of violence

We must Take to the streets. We can not let the event that happened at R.N.C Continue. We can not let the GOV. Get away with this, I wish for all of us Freedom, Constitution minded citizens to ban together this Sept. 11th to Protest the Way our country is going.
I want a peaceful protest. It is not helpful to our cause for violence to occur

Mass protest at St. Louis city hall next weekend

Throughout next weekend there's going to be a mass protest at St. Louis city hall. We're protesting the war in Iraq, the (un)PATRIOT Act, and more! You name it, we're protesting it. We dare the St. Louis police to stop our protest. Over four million people from across the USA are converging and wanting to show up to protest.

For the past six years, "Bread & Roses" has served as an annual celebration
of the arts in political action and in the lives of workers. This year, Jobs
with Justice is seeking film submissions for the annual exhibition. "Bread
& Roses" was named for the labor hymn which reminds us, "Hearts starve as
well as bodies". This year's theme is "Condition Critical: Health Care in
America." The Films MUST reflect the thematic concept of health care.
