Head to Forest Park (Muni amphitheater) for free pens, Burt's Bees products, bike valet service, hickory saplings, and sneaky Monsanto/Solutia reps posing as environmentally-conscious industrialists.

If you have any electronics or appliances, another great place to "recycle" is with WITS. WITS will be having its annual Earth Day, Sunday May 20th, event at Forest Park Community College. Plan on taking electronics and such on Sunday, April 20th, from 10:00a to 5:00p. There is a $5 fee for monitors and for large household electronics (dishwashers, washer/dryers, etc...) and a $10 dollar fee for TVs. Most other items do not have a fee. This is a great community event for a good cause and helps keep these items out of land fills, I hope anyone out there with electronics "junk" will consider joining other environmentally conscious individuals in donating on April 20th.
