Knock Knock, America @ Tower Grove Abby

I am very excited to invite you to the first screening, Knock, Knock
America. (The documentary I've been working on for the past 2 years. Phew.)
It's going to be a beautiful event with singing from Sunita and Muna,
Liberian teens and two of the most talented singers I know. Mark (of
Firedog) will also play songs he wrote with the group as well. I look
forward to seeing you. Please email if you have questions.

Take care,

Rebecca

Knock Knock, America
A Story of Refugee Teens in St. Louis

Sunday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m.
Tower Grove Abbey
2336 Tennessee @ Shenandoah

Special singing performance by IPG members Sunita and Muna from Liberia

Joseph, Gulmakai, Hawa, Junior, AJ, Laura and Wallace have plenty of stories
to tell. America wasn't quite what they thought it'd be. Through the
International Playground, a performing arts club for refugee teens, they are
able to share their stories of survival. Knock Knock, America follows the
teens from Liberia, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, Colombia and Ivory Coast as
they take their places in the Arch City.
