Special Event Saturday Afternoon,
1 PM March 29 at Tower Grove Park Humboldt North Shelter
Come and support the independent peace candidates in the 2008 elections:
Cynthia McKinney for President & Cindy Sheehan for Congress.
These two women are the only ones in the race pledged to reduce the war budget by withdrawing now US troops from over 100 bases around the world and to increase spending on vital under funded public needs here in the US.
They believe that we can start to end recession, racism, and repression in the US by redirecting to the real issues here.
Our special guest from San Francisco will be Millie Phillips , who has been active with both campaigns in California.
drinks , hot dogs, and veggie burgers will be provided please come with an extra food dish and be prepared to make a donation.
