WRITERS ON THE ROAD multi-university reading series

comes to St. Louis April 12, 2008 hosted by UMSL at the Black Bear Bakery.

The University of Missouri – St. Louis Graduate Writers Association
(GWA)—part of the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program—is
pleased to announce that St. Louis will host WRITERS ON THE ROAD, a
reading given by poets and writers from Southern Illinois
University-Carbondale and Washington University in St. Louis on
SATURDAY APRIL 12th from 2:30 to 4:30. The reading will be held at
BLACK BEAR BAKERY, a worker-owned collective bakery and coffee house
at 2639 Cherokee Street, following Black Bear's all-you-can-eat
pancake breakfast. Featured writers include Erin M. Bertram, Amanda
Goldblatt, Vincent Guerra, Chris Dennis, Jason Lee Brown, Shanie
Latham, Rachel Furey, Mary Keck, and James Scoles. This event is free
