This post, however, offers our perspective on the current moment, examining the implications of Obama's election and what it bodes for those of us working for peace, sustainability and social justice. We hope you will take a few minutes to read it through and consider our our perspective. We, of course, invite and welcome your feedback. Note that we have not tried to be comprehensive in addressing the issues that will need to be addressed in the months ahead. Rather, we have attempted to put together a framework for understanding our current situation and used a few examples to illustrate our situation.

CODDLING OF PALIN IS FALSE FEMINISM, DISGUISED SEXISM, AND RIGHT-WING ANTI-WORKING-WOMEN THATCHERISM
The call of so-called feminists to coddle Palin is really disguised sexism and based on a medieval, male-chauvinist mentality that women are weak and fragile and should be protected. We don’t need an American Margaret Thatcher, an icon and poster child for right-wing policies that harm poor and middle-class working women, the majority of women. It’s time to expose Palin for what she really is.
Some women groups and advocates are screaming that media bashing of Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is sexism.

Obama doesn’t deserve to win unless he steps up to the real change that it is time for, which is the actual future. What was the one thing people actually spoke out for against the Bush regime? The one thing people saw some kind of funky hope in peeking out of their subconsciouses in the murk of the drear-clear sunny morning talk show drives to and from work that is their lives?

ATLANTA - McCain will be hurt by his admission that he does not remember how many houses he owns, commentators said.
McCain’s idea of a home mortgage crisis is when his wife won’t buy him another house.
McCain is totally 'out of touch with his memory’.

The dispute arose on Wednesday when McCain was asked by the Politico newspaper how many houses he owns with his wife Cindy, a wealthy heiress to a beer distributorship.

In a refreshing investigative series in the Boston Globe from 2006, journalist Charlie Savage dropped a bombshell on the Bush administration . Reporting on Bush’s use of signing statements, Savage highlighted the president’s long-standing contempt for legislative authority. Since then, the story has generally been overlooked, although it recently resurfaced when bush issued another statement that he would disregard Congress’s prohibition of permanent military bases in Iraq.
Frank Moore Gathers Presidential Electors Nationwide For Groundbreaking Write-In Campaign
