The Teamsters sponsored a labor rally in downtown St. Louis on August 16, 2008 to demand that InBev, the international brewing giant, honor its "pledge to protect the workers and communities" which have made Anheuser-Busch a success. InBev recently bought up Anheuser-Bush, an icon of the "American Dream" closely linked with St. Louis history.
