targeted ever before. This is for the first time in India. The
composition of the car bomb that went off outside trauma centre in
Ahmedabad was surprisingly new," said a senior officer of the Anti
Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the UP police. "The terrorists have used
small Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders to enhance the impact. Till
date, it was limited to pressure cookers only," he pointed out.

detained an American couple living in Navi Mumbai after tracing an
email sent to security agencies minutes before Saturday's Ahmedabad
blasts to the couple's computers.

The police rushed to Gunina Apartments in Navi Mumbai's Sanpada
locality, where Ken Haywood and his wife live in a flat on the 15th
floor. They had rented it from the brother-sister duo of Abhishek and
Mamta Sharma. The two are children of Nailn Sharma, president of the
Navi Mumbai Builders Association. Nalin refused to talk to this
newspaper, saying he had heard about the incident on Sunday morning.

ATS chief Hemant Karkare said his team, along with officers from the
cyber crime cell, had seized a laptop and computer hardware. No
arrests had been made, and the couple was only being questioned.

Ken Haywood works as a corporate trainer with a communications firm,
Campbell White, founded, developed and run by foreign-born
professionals as well as Indians living abroad. The Campbell White
website describes Mr Haywood as the firm's general manager in Navi
Mumbai. He has more than 20 years of experience in hands-on corporate
training and has held senior positions with Fortune 500 companies.

The police did not rule out the possibility of Mr Haywood's email ID
being hacked, after which the threatening email might have been sent.

In the last week, we have seen a sovereign move of God. We have tapped
a stream of converts from North East India, the state of Nagalin.

These bright, young people have come to Bangalore for Schooling and

themselves and had your account deleted and probably turned over to

The same week riots broke out in Los Angeles, a roving band of
demonstrators moved up and down Tempe's Mill Avenue bearing placards
and shouting slogans.

Young people making their weekend exodus to one of the Valley's most
popular night spots saw the demonstrators from a distance and yelled
their approval, "YEAH, RODNEY! LAPD STINKS!"

But as they got closer, they began to hear clearly the words of the
demonstrators, and almost comic comprehension seized them.

These weren't demonstrators protesting the Los Angeles Police
Department and the Rodney King verdict, these were street preachers
protesting sin and degradation on Mill. And the targets of their angst
were the same teenage toughs and long-haired college students who had
mistakenly cheered them on.

"THIS WORLD IS GOING DOWN!" shouted one preacher. "LET JESUS COME IN
AND SET YOU FREE!"

As organizations such as the National Rifle Association and the
American Civil Liberties Union have attacked Tempe's recent efforts to
restrict guns and gang regalia on Mill, another battle over individual
liberties is taking place on the thoroughfare every weekend.

Lay preachers from The Door Christian Fellowship church in Tempe are
gathering in groups as large as 50 to deliver a kind of in-your-face
brand of evangelism that has angered young crowds.

Tempe police find themselves weighing the church members' right to
free speech against the rights of individuals who get annoyed by the
loud, hellfire delivery.

This year police have cited and released four Mill street preachers on
suspicion of disorderly conduct. And now the accused are preparing to....

Dallas TX for Jesus!
Greetings from Dallas TX, where God is changing lives! We are in
Pleasant Grove, (just east of South Oak Cliff), and Jesus is on the
throne and moving in hearts. We've been here 5 months and God is
building a great work, so far, we've been working with 2 families.
One black and the other spanish - it's tremendous to see God at work
here. We average 16 people a service! Also, our Tuesday night prayer
meeting/bible studies have been powerful and fruitful - our largest
attendance has been 21!! It's unbelievable - all of our services are
in my living room! We're praying for a building so that God can do
more in this work. I want to thank Pastor Larry Mitchell, Pastor Joe
Campbell, and Pastor Wayman Mitchell for their investment, prayers,
and support. Who knows what Jesus is gonna do here in the next few
weeks! God bless the Killeen TX church for their love and support as

In one case, a 5 year old girl was subjected to the sight of a pastor
dressing up as the devil and plunging her hands in a bucket of
blood.The pastor in question, a man named Dan Mazon, "said the blood
was fake, but admitted trying to scare the 5-year-old from sex and
drugs" according to a 2004 news report by KPHO Phoenix. Mazon added
chillingly that "That's the problem with this generation that does not
understand fear."

Minutes before the Ahmadabad blasts, a little-known Muslim group
called the Indian Muhahedeen emailed several domestic media outlets
announcing the attack. The email was traced back to a Yahoo account.

CNN reported that the email account in question was eventually traced

Police link US man's computer to India bomb e-mail

AHMADABAD, India (AP) — Police raided the home of an American citizen
in Mumbai, India's financial capital, and seized a computer from which
an e-mail claiming responsibility for bombings that killed 45 people
in western India was believed to have been sent, officials said
Monday.

The 48-year-old American has not been detained and is not currently a
suspect, police said.....

Saturday's e-mail, sent from a Yahoo account and written in English,
was made available to the AP by CNN-IBN, one of the TV stations that
received the warning.

Late Sunday, police raided a home in a Mumbai suburb rented by the
U.S. citizen, believing the e-mail may have been sent from a computer
there. Mumbai police Chief Hassan Gafoor said police confiscated a
computer and were analyzing the hard drive.

Police said it is likely the e-mail was forwarded and may not have
originated from the computer of the U.S. citizen.

Kirit Sonawane, a police officer involved in the raid, said the
American was a resident of California, but gave no other details. "We have not registered any offense. The mail may have been forwarded from his computer," he said.

A.N. Roy, the state police chief of Maharashtra, of which Mumbai is
the capital, said no arrests had been made. "He is not yet a suspect,"
Roy said of the U.S. national, declining to give any further details
about the e-mail.

"We have not yet come to any conclusions about that yet. Inquiries are
on," Roy said.

State Department spokesman Gonzalo Gallegos said the U.S. had no
information about the detention. Gallegos offered condolences and
called the attack a "heinous act."
