Did you know that St. Louis and Kansas City are the
only two cities in the USA which do not control their
police department? They are controlled by the State of
Missouri.

This antiquated system dates back to the
Civil War and involves issues long since resolved. We
need to make our police department more responsive to
citizens. We are now in a campaign to get signed
postcards of support, which we can take to Jefferson
