HOUSTON, June 3 -- Official stories about just-completed terror drills hosted by the Texas City BP refinery are raising more questions than they are answering. As reported in The Lone Star Iconoclast a week ago in "US/BP Terror Drills -- Ron Paul's Texas City," http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/node/33703, internal BP sources had announced a major May 26 - June 1 SWAT-style exercise at the refinery, involving explosives.

HOUSTON, May 27 -- Military and police forces from across the U.S. are conducting SWAT-style terror drills in BP's Texas City refinery, the nation's deadliest and dirtiest industrial site. The facility has exploded with alarming frequency in recent years, including a Mar. 23, 2005 explosion that killed 15 workers.
