SHARING IS CARRING

Surprisingly enough, the self-proclaimed "largest rental car company in North America," St. Louis-based Enterprise Rent-A-Car, may be introducing our city to one such solution: carsharing. As San Francisco-based nonprofit City CarShare outlines, the model "converts automobile use from a product to a service" allowing members 24-hour on-call access to a bank of cars, from small to large, without the hassles of car ownership. Formalized carsharing is a popular and growing trend around the country, and elsewhere in the world.

WILL THE INTERNATIONAL WORLD COURT AND THE POPE COME TO THE RESCUE OF THESE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF ENSLAVED POORER AMERICAN'S ??

***The CATHOLIC CHURCH could really help AMERICA right now by arranging a speech from the VATICAN by the POPE concerning THIS modern day ENSLAVEMENT of POORER AMERICAN'S by our complacent IVORY TOWER US CONGRESS who appears to be more interested in financing other US Congressional interests then our UNDERFUNDED AMERICAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

The real fight against fascism is in the prisons…

On Saturday November 8th, the National Socialist Movement held an anti-immigrant rally and march in Jefferson City, MO. The gathering was part of a national effort by the NSM, with a similar event happening in Tyler, Texas.

Decked out in their Nazi best, swastikas and bomber jackets were the color of the day. Flanked by dozens of riot cops and local sheriffs, the Nazi group marched from the Governor’s Mansion to the steps of the Capitol Building. There they gave a few un-inspired speeches before driving away in there SUVs.

Free corn

          something to think about

A chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange
students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Prof
noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and
stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student
told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting
communists, in his native country, who were trying to overthrow his

Religious Tolerance Forum Hosted By the King of Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia initiated inter-religious meeting at the United Nations this week. King Abdullah called his initiative a “Culture of Peace Summit,” to promote tolerance among the world’s major religions. Participants who gathered in New York on Wednesday and Thursday called for promoting mutual understanding and tolerance, through dialogue. Among those who attended are leaders from Pakistan, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Egypt, Britain, Spain and the Philippines, said Enrique Yeves, spokesman for U.N. General Assembly president Miguel D’Escoto Brockmann.

They're Remodeling the Arch And No One Cares

As I sat in the Steinberg auditorium on Friday night waiting for the start of a panel discussion on the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, I wondered where the crowd might be. The panel discussion was part of this weekend's student charrette sponsored by the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Transportation Engineering Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and featured the public match-up of Danforth Foundation President Peter Sortino and Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Superintendent Tom Bradley. Joining the panel were moderator Robert Duffy of the St.

Obama Is No Country Song

The opinion community has embraced Obama in a brotherly hug, a lover’s arms, a worshipers supplication, an enemy’s arm’s length grip and in a madman’s clutching. The millions of words swirling in a maelstrom, running hot and cold, all true and all false: Obama, champion of the common man. Obama, the elite’s new face. Obama, the hoped for. Obama, the unknown.
