Open to anyone who has worked with Confluence, St. Louis Independent Media Center (STLIMC), done any work with alternative media anywhere or has any interest in alternative media.

IMAGINE a St. Louis based collective that:

-regularly publishes an alternative news/arts/cultural affairs publication (such as Confluence), 'zines, ?

-Maintains an interactive website (such as STLIMC) or ?

-Publishes books, pamphlets, ?

WRITERS ON THE ROAD multi-university reading series

comes to St. Louis April 12, 2008 hosted by UMSL at the Black Bear Bakery.

The University of Missouri – St. Louis Graduate Writers Association
(GWA)—part of the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program—is
pleased to announce that St. Louis will host WRITERS ON THE ROAD, a
reading given by poets and writers from Southern Illinois
University-Carbondale and Washington University in St. Louis on
SATURDAY APRIL 12th from 2:30 to 4:30. The reading will be held at

Head to Forest Park (Muni amphitheater) for free pens, Burt's Bees products, bike valet service, hickory saplings, and sneaky Monsanto/Solutia reps posing as environmentally-conscious industrialists.

Join CAMP for another dinner party of all you care to eat food as a fundraiser for our general expenses. Mama Mia! How many kinds of pasta will the CAMPers cook for you? Come find out! April 17, 2008 we'll cook up a feast of pasta that will surely leave you satisfied. Everything from canoli to lasagna and alfredo to pesto. At a price of $5-10 suggested donation, who could resist?!

This event will probably be at CAMP. It will probably start at 6 pm. We promise to tell you when we know the details cause you're our friends.
